How to Become a Member
The Greene-Dreher-Sterling Community Fair is the oldest community event in the area having been started in 1915. Originally organized an agriculture event: the current fair strives to maintain its original traditions while recognizing the realties of the decline of the family far. The Fair strives to preserve the rural customs and values by educating the fair-going public. Many local non-profit organizations utilize fair week as a major source of revenue, which benefits the community in various ways. The fair itself also gives yearly scholarships to local residents.
Membership dues are $3.00 per year; members can volunteer as much or little time as they are able to. Creating a fair requires work 12 months a year; there is plenty of work for everyone! Lend a hand during the year helping doing everything from maintaining the fairgrounds to yearly paperwork. Whether you're able to spend a few hours or a few weeks, you'll find the people friendly and the work satisfying. Please join us and make your fair the best fair.
